Who we are
CryptoPatterns.ai (“we”) is a crypto market analysis web app. It never trades for you and never holds your funds. For anything about your data, contact us through the live chat on this site and choose “Talk to a person”, or from the Live chat page in your dashboard.
What we collect
- Your account: email address, username, password (stored only as a salted hash), and, if you use them, your Google account ID, linked Discord user ID and name, and an encrypted two-factor secret. Preferences such as display currency and timezone.
- What you add: watchlist, alerts and their history, portfolio holdings, transactions and daily portfolio values, and read-only exchange API keys (encrypted; used only to import balances). Notification settings: a Telegram bot token and chat ID, a Discord webhook (both encrypted) and an email address for alerts.
- Support: live chat messages and the images you send, and Discord ticket messages.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, renewal date and invoice amounts. We never see or store card numbers.
- Technical data: your IP address (for security, rate limiting and an approximate country looked up in a database on our own server), browser and device type, the page that referred you and the pages you visit, kept as aggregated daily counts.
Cookies and local storage
We use one functional cookie, an http-only sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. Your browser’s local storage holds your session token, your live-chat token and a few display preferences. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Icons and fonts are loaded from public CDNs (cdnjs, Google Fonts), and the sign-in pages load Google’s sign-in script, which may set Google’s own cookies.
How we use it
- to run the service: your dashboard, alerts and their delivery, portfolio valuation and risk analysis;
- to answer support requests, including with our AI support assistant;
- to bill subscriptions and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to keep accounts secure (sign-in protection, rate limits, session management);
- to understand which pages are used, in aggregate.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Stripe: payments and invoices.
- Twilio SendGrid: email delivery (verification, sign-in links, alerts, support replies).
- Anthropic: the AI that answers support chats, turns a plain-English description into an alert, and scores public news headlines. It receives the text (and images) involved, not your account credentials.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose “Continue with Google”.
- Discord and Telegram: only if you link Discord or set them up as alert channels.
- Our hosting provider, and the exchanges whose public market data we read (your read-only keys are sent only to the exchange they belong to).
How long we keep it
- Your account and what you added: until you delete your account.
- Portfolio value history: 40 days. Alert history: 30 days. Traffic counts: about 40 days.
- Support chats: with your account until you delete it; chats from visitors who weren’t signed in: 12 months.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can see and change most of your data in Settings, export your transactions from the Portfolio page, and delete your account in Settings → Danger Zone, which removes your account and everything listed above (except payment records we must keep) and cancels any subscription. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or to object to how we use it, contact us through the live chat. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Passwords are hashed, exchange keys and notification secrets are encrypted at rest, all traffic uses HTTPS, and two-factor authentication is available in Settings → Security. See the security page for more.
Children
CryptoPatterns.ai is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
When this policy changes we update this page and its date. Significant changes are announced in the app.
